  Horrible service, small portions, food not that memorable.
  
  I went with my elderly in-laws and a newborn baby and asked for a round table for ease of access and the guy smirked at me and said that table is for 8 people, you only have 4. Keep in mind I went at 1:30pm on a weekday when there aren't many people there and plenty of tables open. He sat me in one of the tiny long tables that also seat 8. They kept rushing us to get the check because they were closing at 2:30 but it was only 2:15 and we were still eating. Ugh, their attitude is what gets me.
  
  The food: small portions and tastes like an average Chinese restaurant. My father in law said the beef clay pot is tough and not soft enough. I also ordered soup and the bowl was the same size as the teapot and filled with noodles and barely any soup.
  
  Disappointed.

  We like the beef ho fun and eggy shrimp ho fun. The lotus leaf wrapped glutinous rice is also good. The sugar egg donut is pretty special here but it's best when cooked fresh to get that melt in your mouth taste like Krispy Kreme. Best HK style cafe for miles around and nice view of Foster City lagoon if you get window side table. Unfortunately, cramped tables and loud/dirty so not 5 stars.

  Don't believe the comments about small portions. We went there this afternoon to celebrate Mom's B-Day. Went overboard and ordered three more entrees than needed. Lots of veggie options, beef, chicken and a dumpling soup. No dessert this time. They have a monitor mounted on the wall in the private party room that showed food being cooked. Yummy !
